NpDP Continues Rich Educational History

Recently, the Flathead Community Foundation Board of Directors made the decision to close its doors, and have been working in partnership with Whitefish Community Foundation to preserve several long-standing initiatives. Flathead NpDP is a much-appreciated, well utilized cornerstone of Flathead Community Foundation programs.

For many years, Flathead NpDP has offered our nonprofit community an open educational forum; a place where people can get to know each other and become better nonprofits through high-quality education.

I am grateful to the Steering Committee for taking the time to teach me about NpDP, and to Flathead Community Foundation Executive Director Tom LePage and Administrative Assistant, Linda Carpenter for all of their work building and managing this partnership. In my role as Programs and Outreach Officer, it will be my privilege to work with them to ensure a smooth transition as NpDP finds a new home at Whitefish Community Foundation. Here at Whitefish Community Foundation, we are excited to expand the educational arm of our programs, and plan to offer regular NpDP meetings, our monthly spring nonprofit workshops, and continue working one-on-one with individual nonprofits. We are eager to explore every opportunity to connect with fellow nonprofits and educators in the Valley.

The Steering Committee is working on the 2021 program schedule, and will continue with regular Zoom workshops at 3:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Stay tuned for January meeting details, and we look forward to seeing you then!
