
Great fish incentive grants & Awards
the biggest catch
EACH WEEK, ONE NONPROFIT WILL WIN A $1,000 INCENTIVE GRANT FOR HAVING THE MOST UNIQUE DONORS, and one nonprofit will win a $1,000 incentive grant for raising the most funds. THE INCENTIVE PERIOD RUNS FROM FRIDAY TO THURSDAY ENDING AT midnight, EACH WEEK DURING THE CAMPAIGN. OUR BUSINESS SPONSORS WILL PRESENT A CHECK TO THE WINNING NONPROFIT.
Each participating organization is eligible to win only one of these $1,000 incentive grants during the Challenge.

Matching grants
Launch Party: Donors who make a gift of $100 or more to one nonprofit at the Launch Party will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 10 $100 matching grants for a participating organization.
Fun Run & Community Celebration: Donors who make a gift of $100 or more to one nonprofit at the Fun Run & Community Celebration will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 10 $100 matching grants for a participating organization.
Great Fish on Air with KGEZ: Donors who make a gift of $100 or more to one nonprofit during Great Fish on Air with KGEZ will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 10 $250 matching grants for a participating organization.

AT THE GREAT FISH AWARDS event
Great Fish Award
$7,500
Presented annually to a nonprofit organization that participated in the Great Fish Community Challenge with commitment, enthusiasm and creativity while showing strong support for the Challenge and Fun Run.
Connie Heckathorn - Cheers for Volunteers
$2,500
This award will go to the organization that makes effective use of its volunteer base to get things done during the Challenge.
Corporate Citizenship Award
$2,500
The Corporate Citizenship Award is given each year to a local business that does an outstanding job promoting employee giving during the Challenge. The award recipient will win $2,500 for the nonprofit of their choice.
Staff Awards
Whitefish Community Foundation staff will choose nonprofits to receive the following Staff Awards, accompanied by a $1,000 grant:
Finest Fishing: Awarded to a nonprofit that demonstrates outstanding, collaborative marketing throughout the Challenge.
Fish Teamwork: Awarded to a nonprofit that goes above and beyond to help Whitefish Community Foundation put on a successful Challenge.
New Fish on the Block: Awarded to a standout, first-time Challenge participant.
Upstream Award: Awarded to a nonprofit that exhibits extraordinary leadership in bringing their organization to a new level.
