Privacy Policy
Introduction
We have created this statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. We do not collect personally identifying information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide such information to us. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. This policy is your guide to how we handle information we learn about you from your visit to our website.
- Online Donations
The Whitefish Community Foundation is committed to maintaining the privacy of our donors and upholding the confidentiality of their personal information. WCF does not share, sell, rent, or trade information about its donors and other contacts to third parties, unless required to do so by law. We also do not share information about our donors or other contacts with other charitable organizations, including charitable organizations that maintain a fund with WCF, except when necessary to advise a charity of a donation made to a fund held by WCF (if the donor has not affirmatively elected to donate anonymously). When you donate on our website, we use the information that you provide to process your donation and send you a receipt. We may use contact information that you provide to invite you to a WCF event or to keep you updated on WCF activities. You can affirmatively opt-out of receiving these communications at any time. When you donate on our website, you can choose to donate anonymously. If you do not affirmatively elect to donate anonymously we may publish your name in our annual report.
- Use of Text, Images, and Links
If you would like to publish information that you find on our website, please send your request to the address listed at the bottom of this page. Where text or images are posted on our site with the permission of the original copyright holder, a copyright statement appears at the bottom of the page. Information about using our logo and images is available in Media Resources. Any links on our website are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement of the information, products, or services on the linked websites. You do not need our permission to create a text link from your website to our site. However, you do need our permission to use any language that states or implies that WCF is your collaborator, partner, or supporter.
