Riding on Insulin empowers, activates and connects the global diabetes community through shared experience and action sports. In addition to establishing a comfortable environment, they strive to help families explore new passions, challenge T1D, and celebrate each other’s successes.

Riding on Insulin continually seeks to keep registration costs low for local families attending their ski/snowboard camp, and their mountain bike camp for kids and teens with T1D. Their project goals are to serve more families in Whitefish and beyond through their annual action sports camps, and measure their impact in a more in-depth way. Each year, their camp numbers have seen growth, and they intend to keep that number on the rise.

The Whitefish Community Foundation awarded $2,000 to Riding on Insulin through the Community Grants Program for their 2019 camps and to help them achieve their goals.
